Mo's Digital Pencil and Making it with Meslyn Challenge

Sorry its a bit late this month, but here goes - the Making it with Meslyn Challenge theme for this month is 'Summer cocktail recipe - Ribbon / sentiment and a splash of citrus', so I decided to use a sentiment I like so much it lifts the spirits and the image from Mo's Digital Pencil which you can find here is just perfect for the sentiment too!

The papers I used were from Digichick, here, and there are some lovely muted papers on that website, I had to reign myself in......

took loads of photos of this card seeing as the light was good, so you can have a good look:)

a side on view so you can see the inside is similar to the outside

the inside

glossy accents on the lemons and the pitcher

sentiment and closeup of the stitching and below some more stitching and the leafy fronds which are a Marianne D creatables die

thanks for looking, and this card is for sale on ebay, click the logo below:

  2. Pauline I used a machine but you can stitch by hand if you use a pokey tool and a TH or other type of ruler to make holes first - the cameo card a couple of posts back was done this way, with a pokey tool and double thread (embroidery thread is lovely and shiny too is you use that) - just use straight or back stitch.
