Sugar Nellie Funky Kits Wedding Card in Ivory and Burgundy

Hi everyone, hope this finds you well. Some terrible things happening in the world over the last few hours :(  All those people, relatives, loved ones, families - we are thinking about them and they are in our prayers.

Onto today's card share then, another wedding one (well you will be seeing a bit more Christmas but in the meantime I am getting up to date with some projects I meant to post)

Used the EK success flourish punch again on this one..

I had included more information about what was used in an earlier post where I shared this card in a different colour, but if you need any help with products etc just leave me a comment :)

I have been playing with new graphics software over the last few weeks, hence the scarce posts, and I will share what I have made soon, am sure you will like it - after a mixture of what were frustrating times and eureka / light bulb moments, I am now getting to grips with it and its LOADS of fun and great for anyone creative - more uses for all those digi papers and images !!

Another Butterfly card with Etsy Digital artwork

Hi everyone, remember that personalised Butterfly card I did a while back, well here is a very similar, non personalized version, with slightly different pearls etc

The dotty papers are from Craft Creations and the floral papers from Etsy, which you can purchase HERE.

The glitter used on the butterfly (after it was coloured lightly with polychromos pencil crayon), is glamour dust and a quickie glue pen for precision.

Sorry this is a quick post, but I am trying to tidy and multi task today!

Inkadinkado Bird Feeder Card

Hello everyone, hope this post finds you all well. Popping in with something a little different, suitable for lots of occasions and for lots of ages, masculine or feminine.

I bought this stamp in an EK success web sale last Christmas and only got to use it now. when I tried to add a link I got a lot of conflicting information on google searches, so if you want to source the stamp, its either of these numbers... I think!  Stamp #860491 or #60-00499... you will recognise it when you see it and it is available on eBay. I will make a spring like bright and summery card with it next year too, I am sure, maybe using Grey Flannel memento ink instead of the Espresso truffle I used here.

So that embossing folder is one of the first cuttlebug folders I ever bought, along with my cuttlebug machine (my first ever die cutting and embossing machine!) and had used the folder seldom, but it was perfect for this project. the blue strip has an old cuttlebug folder as well.

The tag die was from Go Kreate and is just so like a parcel tag shape, I love the inked stenciled effect on this one. Hope you liked this card, and will be back soon. I have developed Carpal Tunnel Syndrome so my crafting is a little limited at the moment, but I will pop in now and again :) New wrist splints ordered to help things a little.

Civil Partnership and Doily Dresses!

Hi everyone from a much brighter day today - the rain is holding off for a bit so the sunshine is out here for a little while :)  I love this time of year and the colours of the leaves, but the light makes for a hard time taking photos of my crafty makes, even during the daytime.
I grabbed a bit of sunshine when I took photos for this card so the texture of the card came out well!

this is the first Civil Partnership card I had to make and I saw the idea for the doily dresses ages ago, had never tried them and decided I just HAD to make them!  I used an XCut doily die, parchment paper and used the tutorial found HERE

Some more photos showing the bunting - the bakers twine was threaded through each little 'flag'

To make the top bodice part of the dress, I used two spellbinders oval dies side by side and cut through a layer of white card and parchment (the parchment had already been put through the doily die) and then a spellbinders heart shaped die to cut the top neckline shape.

Ribbon and pearls to finish the dresses...

Love the light feel of the parchment paper.

Thanks for stopping by, hope this card inspires you to tackle a more challenging marriage card yourself!

MR Designs inspired Nautical card

LOVED loved loved making this one, and it came together really well and to plan - once I had the idea it couldn't be done quick enough - much fun was had lol!!!

Yep, those are real shells and seed things...
the gorgeous papers can be purchased from M R Designs' Michele Roos HERE.

and the inside of the card.... - the centre of the paper was faded out using simple graphic software to highlight the verse before being printed, distressed and inked like the front cover.

Cerise Pink for the same couple - Lili of the Valley and Stamping Bella Uptown Girls images

Happy Friday everyone. Popping in to share a couple of pink cards - if you don't like pink, please look away now LOL!

I used a LOTV image for one and a Stamping Bella image for the other.

Lots of dots on this one, stencilling using the dies and hand made frilly flowers.

For the Second card I used a partial embossing technique. In a rush to photograph this one so hope you can see where the folder 'didn't' emboss over the image. I made my own template and adjusted the embossing sandwich in the machine.

Some more partial embossing inside the card.

Haven't used tinkling bells for a while so added some of those and a lacy spellbinders oval die.

This is the best photo for you to see the partial embossing around the image.

That's all for today. Thanks for stopping by and if you like, leave me a comment to let me know what you think of these two wedding cards.

Masculine card for a change - Harley Davidson themed

Hi everyone, sorry it's been a while since I popped in but busy as usual LOL. I took some time out today though and had a fabulous day with two crafty friends, just experimenting with a new technique, having lunch, some yummy homemade cake and a longggg natter - just what I needed and thank you to my crafty friends - you know who you are and I appreciate you popping in to say hello!!

On to today's card share then, which i meant to post AGES ago - a digital image of a motorcycle printed onto hessian embossed card and layered with embossed card.
The embossing folder is from Darice and its fabulous for men's motoring themed cards.

the inside of the card using word art for the circular text and quickutz number dies for the 50th in numerical shapes

card stands as an 'easel' shape

That's all for today, will pop back soon with some more, when I get time to get photos together.
