Me To You Bears' Confirmation Card

Popping in with a really girly Me To You / Tatty Teddy Confirmation card. This is a larger version of an older square 6x6 design card, which I also changed to suit the occasion, still retaining the colour scheme and the crochet doily die cuts from My Favourite Things.

Box decorated to match the card..

The card is a portrait A5 size easel card..

Clean lines and fresh colours - lemon, dove grey, mint green and lots of white with a splash of cerise pink.

You cant help but love Tatty Teddy, can you.  Hope you had a great day Emily :)

Peppa Pig is making an appearance today!

A really cheery card to share with everyone today, for a little girl's birthday!
This is my first Peppa Pig card and I had loads of fun creating this little scene.. when something 'works' you just cant put it together quick enough LOL

Lots of photos so you can see the dimension / depth and shapes..

Used an image I got from google for Peppa and this card was just so perfect for me to use the Martha Stewart punch around the page farmyard set

One of my new dies - stitched hills / slopes from Simon says Stamp die range

Glossy Accents on a Painting themed card

Another hard one to photograph in order to show the glossy accents - this card was kept simple so that the text and coloured image / glossy accents on the paintbrush are the focus.

So this is a fabulous Lili of the Valley image I hadn't had time to use and glad I have - its fabulous for all sorts of cards and occasions :)

Another side on photo to show the glossy 'paint'

Hope you had a fabulous 30th Darren and cant wait to see you guys soon;)
I am sure that paintbrush is going to be in your hand a lot more as you decorate your new home xx

Prof DummKopf for a Doctor and Tagxedo

Another masculine card to share... on a roll here LOL, and it's another clean and simple one but this time I used Tagxedo again to decorate and send a message of thanks.

You can find this digi stamp HERE

Colouring this image was difficult and I definitely need more work on my skin tones, but I am happy with this first one.

Here is the inside of the card - a sincere and straight to the point Thank You message

I also need to make a framed gift to go with this card and that work is in progress so can't wait to share when it's done :)

Liverpool Football card for a Teen

Back today with another masculine card, this time for a teen who loves soccer and Liverpool.
I used Tagxedo for this one, some Quickutz star dies and partial embossing using a football design folder.

Also used a spellbinders label die which I cut in half (the black one behind the name label) in order to give it some more height and wow a whole new size and it looks great behind the banner / bunting dies from My Favourite Things range (they are getting loads of use).

It was hard to photograph with all the white so here are some side on views..

Meljens Racing Rabbit for a Man's Birthday

Hi everyone, popping in to say hello with a super quick post and card, while I am in the process of making a couple of framed pieces. This card is a fairly simple layout, which i think works best for men's cards as men don't appreciate frills and fancy cards most of the time LOL, plus if there's too much going on, it can look a bit OTT!!

This card is using a digi from Meljens Designs. Melissa is sadly not selling digi's through her own website but now as bundles through Etsy, if anyone wants to obtain any. The recipient of this card likes marathons so it was a good image to use ;)

Twine and MFT banner dies used for the bunting and yes the twine is threaded through the bunting. The papers are from Nitwit collections but I cant remember which set arghh.

Summery Wedding card

Another wedding card to share, this time in fresh bright colours, using that same scroll punch again which everyone seems to like! The fresh colours were very suited to the occasion as it was a wedding away somewhere sunny.

I used a Sugar Nellie stamped image and some sea green card, inked the handmade flowers to match and used lots of die cut leaves and heart shaped fronds.

I am sure this is a crafters companion embossing folder.. maybe someone can help me with that one, as I lost the packaging.

Some close up photos..

So now I definitely need to try that new shade of Tim Holtz Distress ink, cracked Pistaschio - I think that new shade would have been fab - for this card I had to ink using sky blue and evergreen bough and it took a few attempts!

That's all for today, but I will be back as have a few more to share but for now I need to create a couple of more bits on order :)

Boy's Communion card

Well today the weather has been gorgeous, it's like summer HAS finally arrived and it feels soooo good!  Popping in with another card make, this time with one of the many First Holy Communion cards made over the last few weeks.

For this one I used a Mo Manning image, coloured again with Faber Castell Polychromos pencil crayons.

Also invested in some new cross shaped dies so have been using these too.

Another version of the little boy for a similar card, but the image coloured in blue.

NItwit Collections inspired Floral 60th Birthday card

Okay so today I have something different - not along the lines of Babies, Communions or Weddings for this post - but a Feminine birthday card, presented in a box.

I used Nitwit collections papers - two sheets from the same digi pack which is called Fine Linen which you can find HERE.

A martha Stewart doily punch for the centre border and some EK success daisy punches and leaf punches for the flowers

The 60 number shapes were cut using Quickutz dies.

Border inside the card to match the cover.

some more photos to show the layering and embossing - kraft coloured cardstock embosses really well and I love the Colorset Suede shade - its very like Kraft card and matches so well.
