a couple of mens cards with digi images

Popping in with a couple of mens cards, made with digi images, digi papers, embossing and colouring with pro markers and pencils respectively.

the first one is using Di's Digi's Off Puttin' Image which you can find here

The sentiment ticket stamp is from Lili of the Valley and the text Computer generated - the ticket stamps are great as they are polymer so you can stamp over your sentiment with ease.

and a couple of closeups to see the textures:

the second card is from a digi stamp from Just Inklined stamp which you can find here and go well with Bearly Mine Digi papers from the Damask Delights papers and embossed effect from the cuttlebug folder.

that's all for today but will have more when I can take some more photos in the daylight

Tina Wenke Stamped Book Card

Hi everyone and hope you have all had a fabulous weekend.
Am popping in to share a book card which I have wanted to make up with this particular stamp for a while - just the perfect image from Tina Wenke called Storybook Friends.

here is another view from the side where you can see the 'faux' pages and inking.

and here is the inside:

and a side on view of the inside

loved making this project and will be making another one very soon!

nautical card

well I just love the new square labels dies from Spellbinders and haven't used my nautical aspects of design from the stamp man for ages, so here's another nautical card teamed up with Magnolia flourishes.

used the dies to stencil gold ink onto brown card - yum yum!

am entering this card into papertake weekly challenge - anything goes

birds and poppies

Hi everyone and hope you are keeping dry - howling gales last night then debris and lots of surface water this morning but its starting to clear now so hope we will have a dry(ish) weekend!

Popping in with two flowery cards suitable for all occasions, one with birds below too.
More inking, die cutting and embossing and apertures (love that at the moment!)

and a closeup to show the apertures and layers on the decoupage.

the sentiment is one of my circular Lily of the Valley ones

The next card is a similar version of a square card I did before, this time a different size, different sentiment and different ribbon - I like this combination a lot before so found myself making another!

love the black and white tartan ribbon :)

flowers layered on this and coloured with shiny twinkling H2O's of course!

Couple of confirmation cards for girls

just popping in for a brief hello to share a couple of special confirmation cards made in last few weeks which I meant to post and completely forgot to oops.

the first is a girly pink version of one I did in plain white / silver / grey few weeks ago

the second one is a digi image one coloured with twinkling H2O paints and embellished a little with leaf sprays.

Lots of layers in this one and apertures to make it dimensional.

Bearly Mine DT new home card

Hi everyone, am back with another Bearly Mine Challenge for this week, and the theme is to use a charm on your project.

I chose this cute little key for a new home card and teamed the Bearly mine papers from the Spring Blossom range with one of Meljen's cute images.

the sentiment is from Lily of the Valley stamped onto coloured card

I coloured the image with promarkers this time using Caramel, sandstone, burnt sienna, meadow green, apple, grass, yellow, buttercup, gold, berry red and also glacier blue and antique white flemarkers.

A side on view to show the layers and punched key edge  and dimensional liquid pearls (I love this technique ever since I saw it on a couple of other blogs and decided to try it for the first time with this whimsical looking image).

Make sure you pop over and join in the challenge.

If you cant attach your charms successfully try jump rings of various sizes, but be sure to buy some cheap jewelry pliers as the small ones cant be bent with your fingers alone! links to jump ring suppliers on eBay are on my retail therapy page

I am also entering this card into Meljen's Pearls Challenge

Flourishes Feminine Charm # 3

yayy the sun is out and its bright and sunny so far today so was up early to enjoy the good weather.
still catching up on posts and here is another card from the Flourishes Feminine Charm set.

the sentiment is also from the same set and used one of my all time favourite cuttlebug embossing folders. Inked the topper while still in the nestie die and the edges of the embossed card with antique linen distress ink.

Used shiny organza ribbon on this one and if you click on the picture above to get a larger image you can see the colouring with polychromos pencil crayons, to which I didn't add sansodor this time as I liked the texture and it suited this card not to apply the spirit.

Tina Wenke baby and Whiff of Joy Cherub cards

another couple to share this one didn't photograph as well for the colouring bits (the colouring is subtle in Twinkling H2O's but the shine quite a bit so looks a wee bit faint, but great in real life.

Instead of using the obvious lemon or yellow for this baby card I added a muted mustard colour with the palest grey and mint green to keep it all subtle and pastel.

the stamp is one of my baby ones from Tina Wenke / Stampavie and I keep going back to it time and again - the sign of a fabulous illustration!

The duck is an old freebie from a magazine and I think it could be the duck from the popcorn range not 100% sure, but he is cute all the same! think I have had that little duck since I started crafting and it was just begging to go with the stamped sentiment..

Last but not least, I was thrilled to bits to discover and quickly hipped along to the Whiff of Joy website, after previews of the new Elisabeth Bell stamps released in the last few weeks,. I love the cherubs and have two or three more uninked stamps in the range so look out for these, I intend to ink them very soon!

Coloured with twinkling H2O's again and will be back with some more.

Lily of the Valley Wedding card

Popping in to share a wedding card made with one of my favourite all time wedding stamps from Lily of the Valley which you can find here, teamed this with Darice embossing folder, go kreate dies and Magnolia leaf die cut.

I love the nestability tags used for the label but this was about the only one I managed to cut in ages without breaking the legs and even using release foam (yep tried parchment paper and all that and not a happy die sometimes!) grrr but it was worth it!

here is another view so you can see the window go create dies and the partial embossing using the Darice embossing folder. Oh and the sentiment is from just rite - I love using lots of different brands / products that complement each other!

I am entering this into Lili's Lil Fairies Antyhing Goes challenge, why not pop over and take part too its a good one to enter any LOTV card you have made!

Di's Digi DT card Male Inspired

Hello blogland and hope your BH weekend is off to a good start for those of you who have one. Delighted to share another card using Di's Digi Downloads for the challenge for next fortnight which is for mens cards. Since Father's Day is just around the corner, so get your stash out and get crafting - hope over to the challenge post here.

For my card I used mechanic ted and am embossing folder with cogs and black soot distress ink to create the border. no papers or anything else as I wanted a big image so I could get some serious colouring in!
the sentiment is made with alphabet candy stamps from craftwork cards which you can purchase at Cottage Crafts if you contact Marina or here and a LOTV ticket stamp which you can find here.

That's all for now but I have loads to post on blog so will be back with more.
