Masculine card for a change - Harley Davidson themed

Hi everyone, sorry it's been a while since I popped in but busy as usual LOL. I took some time out today though and had a fabulous day with two crafty friends, just experimenting with a new technique, having lunch, some yummy homemade cake and a longggg natter - just what I needed and thank you to my crafty friends - you know who you are and I appreciate you popping in to say hello!!

On to today's card share then, which i meant to post AGES ago - a digital image of a motorcycle printed onto hessian embossed card and layered with embossed card.
The embossing folder is from Darice and its fabulous for men's motoring themed cards.

the inside of the card using word art for the circular text and quickutz number dies for the 50th in numerical shapes

card stands as an 'easel' shape

That's all for today, will pop back soon with some more, when I get time to get photos together.

LOTV simply stamped Birthday card

hi everyone, hope you're all well and taking advantage of the mild weather :)
Sharing a very simple card today with heat embossing, using a Lili of the Valley sentiment stamp.

The sentiment stamp I used is part of a set and can be found here. They are very versatile and for someone who is beginning stamping and / or embossing they are very forgiving because of their 'distressed' or patchy typeface - that's the effect I love about them!

I used spellbinders Posy Patch and Daisy patch flowers and the Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourish leaf dies for the flowers and leaves

Some more photos of the shaped flowers.

thanks for visiting my blog today!

Coffee n Cream Coloured wedding with a hint of pink - Sugar Nellie revisited

Another card I have improved on since the first version - funny when you look back at old photos and think ewww I should have done this or that!! It's good if our own criticism has a good effect on future work, don't you think?!

Anyway this is the same layout as before, but used a different shade of distress ink for the edges plus I added a hint of pink. Sometimes it's easy to get carried away with the ''need'' for die cut shapes but for this card all I did was mat and layer and use ONE corner punch, the double rounder.

Embossing folder is my original oldest cuttlebug flourish one and the Sugar Nellie stamp can be found HERE.

Pearls pearls pearls!

Have to shout out for David and Hazel from Diamond Occasion. I came across their pearls on ebay, looking for three sizes of pink in the same shade and they have arrived - perfect stuff!
So am sharing in case anyone wants to purchase loose pearls from a great supplier!

Rework of an old baby pink Wedding Design - LOTV Wedding Stamp

Funny isn't it, how you look at an older version of a card that everyone likes, but STILL find ways to improve?! So that's what I did here, just a small change but I spread the flowers out a bit and added larger leaf flourishes

Love the simplicity of this card, It really shows off the image really well.

Close up view of the debossing.

Navy White and Silver Sugar Nallie themed Wedding card

Another Sugar Nellie card to share similar to a previous post, but this time in royal blue, white and a hint of silver

The daisies are made with EK success daisy punches - mental note: when these eventually wear out I need to find replacement dies the same shape!!

only a little colouring was required on this image and a close up of the embossing and layers shown below

Ruby Wedding Anniversary

Clean and simple share for you today for a Ruby Wedding Anniversary.
This is similar to the Golden Wedding Anniversary card I shared a while back and is even nicer in Ruby Red!

The embossing folder is from the Embossalicious range from Crafters Companion
