Toe Tapper Boxed Shoe

okay one more post for this week (think I have done well and the spring weather has got the mojo going again!!). I spent a fair bit of time on this boxed card and its being posted far away, so the box idea seemed a good one!

I used Coppernob Toe Tapper Templates which I bought some time ago, and some textured card and with a bit of glue, ribbon and die cutting this is the end result. loads of photos on this one so you can see all the bits. Also found that if you cut out the sole more than once and glue together, it stops the shoe from curling upwards, as I know some people have this problem if card stock not heavy enough. oh and add some stickles and gems too..

this close up shows the paper pricking

and this view shows the double embossing (use the embossing folder twice in the cuttlebug)

Men's cards

just a couple to show you from the last couple of weeks which I meant to post earlier.. the first is made with two of my fave stamps from Stamp Addicts, the racing card and the flag stamp..I used a Martha Stewart punch for the centre white border and some home made glue gun dew drops coloured with alcohol inks for the 'lights'.. also added glossy accents to the wheels and the helmet.

and two more made with Aspects of Design - Nautical Stamp set from the Stamp Man.
the detail in these stamps is amazing... also used hero arts text stamp for the background in midnight blue stazon after which I distress with ink... the ship has been embossed in copper EP on the first card and in gold detail on the second..

okay here are all some other bits to show you! I love easter and all the pastel shades, eggs, tulips and chicks..and made these little easter favours.. papers from PC Crafter.

.. the other easter cards are made with Magnolia and Penny Black Stamps... working on some more at the moment will post them in next few days. Not sure if you can tell but am addicted to those spellbinders fancy tags labels!

and for St Paddy's Day yesterday.. i used glossy accents for the shamrock and embossed the shamrock shape with the hearts Cuttlebug folder before distressing with brown ink

thats it for the mo!

...I love doing anything with animals and this one was a pleasure to do. its 3d decoupage print from Le Shuh with a bit of punching but not too fancy - just right for a man..

..just a confirmation card to share with you. really liked doing this one and wanted something feminine but not fancy or flowery... the bible die from sizzix is so versatile too - use it for loads of things..

Atc's Swaps and Pocket Cards

..just a few bits I didnt add to the blog before on account of not having great upload speeds!! the first is an atc for a SWAP entitled Valentines, where I used a Martha Stewart punch some embellies and a Cuttlebug embossing border folder..

these two cards are for special birthdays and a SWAP along the theme of Pockets. I think this is a PSX stamp but not sure.. i love it for making masculine and feminine cards and it was found on ebay!! used black soot distress inks, cookie cutter flourish die and embossed the pocket with black sparkle embossing powder pocket mounted with foam pads round the edges so the tag slips inside.. oh and bright cerise pink and black go soo well together - yum!!
