Baby Boy with a Lili of the Valley Stamp

hi everyone, hope you are warm and cosy where you, the weather has been cold and it's set to continue for a few more days yet :(... so long as the Easter bunny remembers my egg next week I don't mind LOL.

So I got one of my favorite Lily of the Valley Stamps out - an old one but a favorite nonetheless , and seeing as my punches had been looking neglected, I did some border punching which I don't seem to have done for ages.. not sure why maybe it's just a phase!?

Lots of layers on this one and my foam pads are running out quicker than my tape, seem to be layering things more and more...

The soft colouring was achieved with Faber Castell Polychromos Pencil Crayons.

Dont't have a moment to add the products, but if you want to know where to find anything you like, leave me a comment :)

Mo Manning Teen Boy Game On!

hi again - catching up on posts still and here is another stamped image card with Faber Castell Pencil Crayons, for a teen boy.

Excitement grew in my craft room when I realised that Mo Manning had released some designs in rubber - yay yay and yay again - love the look of the teen images, again something so hard to find and this one is called Game On!

Decided to do something extra with the stamp - a lighter coloured ink Memento London  Fog - was used to decorate the inside instead of an insert over which I stamped Happy Birthday with a clear sentiment Stamp and Stazon ink.

Marianne D Dies - Lord and' Lady Cameo

Hi everyone, here is the lady cameo card using the other Marianne die from the Lord & Lady set:

I used another Marianne leafy die (link below) and spellbinders ovals with Pearls from Cottage Crafts.

The papers on the card are from Bearly Mine Designs's CD Rom Designer Volume II.

The distress ink used on this card is the Vintage Photo shade. This is a quick post as have to head off and do a couple of other things before time runs away with me (again!!).. Will be back again tomorrow.

Gillian Roberts Stampavie Teen Girl Card - Texting

Today's post is a card made for a teen - its hard to find suitable images for teens, and I think this one is perfect.

So I was still in the 'brown' mood when I created this one.. it's one of my favourite colours, warm and neutral, and the pearlescent card, a colour called mink from a brand called centura makes it luxurious and lifts the dark brown - I love that cardstock!

The image was coloured with Faber Castell Polychomos pencils and I decided not to blend them on this one, so I stopped at just colouring with the pencil and added no sansador.

The inside was decorated with the same cardstock and papers and a Penny Black sentiment stamp.

Links to the dies and punches for the flowers and leaves can be found below, including those luscious brown pearls from Cottage Crafts.

Marianne D Dies and Stamps Gentleman's card

A very brown card share today! .. well I was in a vintagey kinda mood I guess...
So Marion in the Crafty Bride in Kilkenny asked me to try out these stamps, CS0858 from Marianne Product range and I have to say I love them and am on the lookout for a couple of the other sets ....
From the set, I used the text, watch, postcard and postage stamp along with a set of cameo / silhouette dies also by Marianne D, which caught my eye..

The background paper is from Craft Creations and is called Vine and Flower Pattern which was inked and stamped with the text and postage stamps from the set.

and for the watch, I stamped this twice, cutting out the smaller circle for the watch face, adding glossy accents to that to make it shine and distressing the larger piece with ink as well.

A side on view showing the strung pearls which I threaded through the topper and watch, the topper made with spellbinder dies.

Look out for the next post with another card made with the feminine die cut from this set..

Ship on Stormy Seas

Hope all the Mom's out there who are celebrating Mother's Day are having a great day and being spoiled, and hope my mom received her flowers today too!

Well the weather today is windy, cold and rough out there in my part of the world, so a good time to show you the next card - its called Ship on Stormy Seas which I got from an eBay seller in 2010. I am trying to make contact with them again as so many of you said you loved this one!

I love any navy, dark red and white colour combination on a card and the Marianne anchor die goes well with the design, as does the cuttlebug script folder

A side on view so you can see the layering! - the anchor was attached using jump rings and jewelry pliers (Links to charm, jump ring and tool suppliers are on Retail Corner page of my blog).

I have decorated and distressed the inside of the card to carry the theme though.
