Lili of the Valley Anniversary Card - LOTV Stamp Together Forever

Another older version of a card I revamped slightly.
It's good to look at old projects and see how you can improve as time goes by!  This was an order for a lady's husband on their first wedding anniversary, and yes they're both redheads so colouring the image with the correct hair colours was well received LOL

you can find this stamp on the Lili of the Valley website HERE

A little light embossing on the pearlescent card stock and I used a fiskars border / corner punch for the heart punched border.

Wee Stamps Posey Fairy image with Bearly Mine Designs Digi Papers

Well this week flew by... so busy but now it's the weekend and I have two whole days off woohoo. Have lots to blog so keep checking back as I might even have a post every day!  Making up for lost time ha ha....

This cute fairy is from Sylvia Zet and her Wee Stamps range.. called Posey, and you can find her HERE

I coloured her with polychromos pencils and added shabby embossing enamel for sparkle, as well as glitter.

The papers are from Bearly Mine Designs and a digi CD I got a while ago. It is no longer available, but if you really really want the papers too, please get in touch with Donna. Hopefully these will come out as part of a digi set, we will have to see!

Inside of the card decorated with the same designer paper.

I boxed this one, to make it extra special and protect the dimensional flowers.

A side on view and the border was made using a Martha Stewart punch.

Wedding card - Lili of the Valley Over the Threshold

Hi everyone, phew am glad it's FRIDAY! My favourite day of the week, as it's the weekend. Just posting a few photos of a simple wedding card made this week.

Some of you may think you've seen it before and you would be correct - I made a card with a Magnolia TIilda bride and groom image a long  way back, and really liked the scroll arch / bridge die cut (an old 12 inch quickutz die), so decided to revamp with a 'new' Lili of the Valley stamp - I bought the stamp a few months ago..... and how scandalous that this is my first time inking the rubber!  I love this image now..

The Lili of the Valley stamp can be purchased HERE

Some close up photos - partial embossing using an old cuttlebug folder and the image was cut out after being coloured.

Will be back in a couple of days with more LOTV image cards and some other makes.

Di's Digi Downloads Hello Ladybird

So I am back with another card to share and it's not a wedding one LOL

This cute image is available from Di's Digi Downloads HERE, and was coloured with polychromos pencil crayons.

The card was made into an easel shape and I used a Martha Stewart punch around the page ladybird punch set, along with a cuttelbug embossing folder and an old quickutz ladybird die.

The inside of the card was punched the same as the outside, so there were LOADS of ladybirds!

The ladybird's body was cut using black funky foam and the wings from Craft Creations Glitter Board - great quality well covered board that doesn't disintegrate.

Hope you enjoyed this brightly coloured one!

Wedding card - Marianne Lord and Lady Silhouettes LR0211

Just popping in to catch up very quickly LOL. Been busy at work and at home, so this post is going to be very quick.

a wedding card using the first release of Marianne silhouette type shapes - the request was young and 'vintagey' with cream and lots of white.

Spellbinders labels and rectangles dies used along with Wild Orchid Crafts Mulberry flowers, a Leone Em fern punch and those Marianne Designs rose leaves, all inked. Also used Magnolia Doo Hickey swirl flourish dies again - when do I NOT use them ha ha!!!

oh and I almost forgot the Martha Stewart Doily Lace Punch and the flowers were glittered with glamour dust.

That beautiful paper is from Nitwit collections but I can't remember which pack as I didnt keep in it's folder, silly me, .. which was stamped using a hero arts script stamp.

Hope you enjoyed the photos on this one. Will be back with more in a couple of days..

Another wedding card, with more colour

Hi everyone, am a little later posting this than planned, but was caught with an icky bug and felt rough over the last couple of days :(.  Hopefully this summer cold is heading away to someone else now!
this wedding card is different to my other boxed ones and a little more traditional, with a romantic, traditional feel - I used Fleur de Lis dies and accents from spellbinders dies for this effect.

Lots of pearls and swirly things!

The die shape for the aperture is a Go Kreate die..

The inside of the card also decorated with the same Papers from Nitwit Collections and those spellbinder dies again. The Nitwit Papers are from the Truly Madly Deeply range which I printed on cream card to get a deeper yellowish hue.

Some closeup photos of the mulberry flower arrangement, the Rose septa are also die cuts from Marianne Designs

and a side view of the card...
the bright red pearls were too bright so I 'coloured' them with a deep red promarker - handy tip for your own custom coloured pearls!

Wow that's a few posts and I am not neglecting the blog as much as before woohoo.
Will be popping back with another three new makes over the next few days, using some long neglected stash and punches LOL.

Silver Wedding Anniversary

Just a quick post with another make and some more photo's to look at :)

This time it's and Anniversary card for a Silver Wedding celebration.

I made the flowers for this one and added touches of green, with a glitter encrusted bead for the centre of the large flower. Distress inks and memento inks used on the flower..

the papers I purchased from an Etsy digi seller as I loved them the first time I stumbled on them and they happen to go so well with one of my favorite cuttlebug flourish folders.

A view of the complete card, the champagne glasses are from Cottage Cutz and I used some heart confetti which has been in my stash for ages LOL

The inside of the card was decorated to match the outside..

closeup of the dies and little flower..
.. oh and gems for bubbles!!

Here's a photo to show the dimension of the flower.

That's all for today.

Will be back with a colourful wedding card this weekend.
