Lili of the Valley Wedding Couple and matching cupcake toppers

Am excited to share my first matching wedding card and cupcake toppers made specially to go with the cakes. The cupcakes and wedding cake come from the creative culinary talent of Janette from BlossomBakes in Wexford.
You can view Janette's cakes here and find more information about BlossomBakes.

For the Wedding card, I used Lili of the Valley stamp Wedding Couple again, and embellished with Pearls and Mulberry flowers.  The cupcake toppers are made with the same pink ribbon and some with jute twine/string for a rustic feel.

The picks are dainty and quite fun to make. Pearls need to be well adhered though and the table very clean seeing as they will be stuck into icing and sponge cake!!

The card, around 7 and 3/4 inches square.

loads of photos in this post........

the label with the names is a Spellbinders Tag die, one of the original / older sets and the fancy rectangular shaped silver die cut is also a spellbinders die set.

The mulberry flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the flourishes are a magnolia Doo Hickey Swirl/flourish die.

... and I can share a photo of one of the cupcakes. To see the gorgeous work and other photos of the cakes for this wedding, pop along to Blossombakes HERE

Baby's First Birthday with Lili of the Valley Stamp Balloon Basket

Thanks for visiting my blog, to all of those who do. Remember that you don't need to be on blogger or have a google account to comment or send me an email. I appreciate any feedback and if you want any help with crafty related things, please don't hesitate to make contact.
All blog comments have to be approved / published by me first, so if you don't want a comment displayed at the end of this post, just let me know.

Now onto today's card share, another of my favourite brand's stamps, Lili of the Valley Balloon Basket available HERE.

I get asked a lot about the embossing folder used - the patchwork design is a papermania release a while back, which you might no longer be able to get.  But you can get patchwork embossing folders from others like Crafters companion HERE.

Not sure if you can see, as it's hard to photograph, but the stars were cut in the same colour blue and a yellowy colour and misted with iridescent mists to make them shine a little.

Layering and dimension added with the stars - purchase 1mm 2mm and 3mm foam pads and this makes life a lot easier - that's a good tip ;)

Will be back with a special wedding card tomorrow

A couple of similar Lili of the Valley Wedding cards - LOTV Wedding Couple

Some more wedding cards to share, made with Lili of the Valley Stamps again - yes I love these as they are gorgeous and so traditional.

For these two cards, in slightly different blue colours, I made my own flowers and added LOTS of pearls.

The blues are slightly different but complement each other - royal blue pearls and ribbon and chipped sapphire distress ink.

.. the second one with ribbon from stash which I have had for ages and now I realise what I saved it for!

Coloured with polychromos pencils again :)

You can find this stamp HERE of the Lili of the Valley website

Graduation Card with an Irish Flavour using Flourishes Stamps

Am back with another commissioned order, for a young lady who earned her degree in Irish and Geography.. a lot of head scratching as to what I was going to make for this celebration!

Anyway in the end it was a mixture of scarlet ribbon, digi papers, a Flourishes stamp set and the generous help of an Irish speaking lady called Neasa over in Galway - thanks Neasa, I am learning the odd Irish word slowly :)
The stamps are called 'From the Desk of', which you can find HERE on the Flourishes website - another stamp set  from Flourishes which I love and treasure - their designs are timeless!

The maps I used, were purchased HERE on Etsy, and the inside of the card was also decorated with the same papers, which were muted slightly using image software (numpty here forgot to save a picture, sorry)

Hope you liked this one, I was pleased with it - simple but effective, and I keep using those spellbinder labels - the shape mixes with any of the spellbinder ovals really well.
