Hi everyone, hope you are all having a relaxing day today, whatever you're all up to. I have been trying to do some 'spring' cleaning but it's still so dull I am just NOT in the mood LOL!!
Anyway enough of the weather as I hear it's going to be much warmer and brighter next week.
Here are some details of what we will be making during the March workshops. I wont be previewing all of the cards, so at least there is a little more to look forward to if you are coming along to a workshop and I won't give everything away !
Workshop details - dates and venues can be found HERE if you would like to attend.
Our fun project for this month is a cute easter basket, made from an A4 sheet of card and which is super easy, requires minimal scoring and a little cutting - the decoration is the fun bit, as is adding the chocolate eggs!
We will also be making a masculine card along the lines of a motoring theme using die cut decoupage.
Not forgetting the ladies, this next card will be suitable for all those looking for a special Mother's Day card, and there will be birthday / other sentiments included if you prefer to use it for any other occasion.
The stamp we are using is from Stamping Bella and it's so chic and classy, teamed with hot pink and brown and Laura Ashley stamps (yep one of my favourite colour schemes, I just couldn't help using that combination with this stamp!!)
Every year fellow crafters ask me to come up with a different First Holy Communion design, and it's always a challenge to do something different. This year I was SO excited when I saw the new Leabilities Occasions dies. Hence, the chalice one was the first one I chose to use, hope you like what I did with the ink and glitter on the embossed die cut.
We will also be doing some more stamping, using a couple of different stamping and inking techniques to create a clean and simple tile effect floral card.
Looking forward to seeing everyone again :)
Happy Crafting!
Jess
