Challenges and Swaps
here are a couple of things made this morning, because I was thinking about the ideas for ages then when i was happy with them I put them down in card and paper!
the first is for an ATC swap with the theme 'what makes you happy' - this is from Stamp addicts Cube stamp called Kew Gardens coloured with twinkling H2O's.... okay so APART from crafting, the countryside and the garden and hedgerows nearby make me happy!
the second is a card swap with the theme rainbows. I used a Penny Black stamp called ''When I'm with You'' which I coloured with twinkling H2O's then cut out and mounted on top oflayer of rainbow coloured pastel card stock which already had two colours of handmade paper cut into mountain and grass shapes (edges inked with distress inks pine needles and faded denim) and then stamped the grass bit of the stamp on another green piece of handmade paper before cutting and tearing edges.

A Crafty Weekend
Well I havent posted in a while cos I have been working away in the background with cards, calligraphy and making sweets (its getting nearer to halloween and Christmas preparation time so the fudge and cocnut ice smells are in the house!). Some of the cards for todays workshop were already on the blog, and here are the rest, plus a couple of other cards I made for family..

This weekend
have been busy with the final couple of kits for next weekend and here are a few cards / bits made this weekend, some of which may well be class kits but I am keeping everyine guessing!! The flower one was from a photo I took a couple of months ago in Carlow and there are glossy accents dew bits on the flowers (glad to experiment and find that the ink didnt run! - if you clink on the picture it will open up a larger image and you may see them as they are tiny). the Christmas card is from a Penny Black stamp which I really love and is one of my favourites!

21st Vintage Tractor
.. very pleased to show you what I made last night! I have to make something with a vintage tractor so got out the PSX stamp I had used once before (which stamp I searched on ebay for months for) and did this card. I also heard today that Edward has just bought a tractor himself to take part in rallies and he was very pleased and liked the colours on the card - so that makes me happy!!

12th September Workshop Previews
Here are some previews of the projects for the workshop in Enniscorthy next Saturday12th September.... no I am not giving away much, but hope you like the look of the textures on some of the pictures... we will be making a card with its own box, some cards using lovely feminine papers as well as masculine card, and some of these projects will demonstrate how you can use cards made with your own black and white or coloured photos.
Click on the pictures to take a closer look and if you would like to email me to book your place, these are limited and are on first come, first served basis.
