Sugar Nellie Funky Kits Wedding Card in Ivory and Burgundy

Hi everyone, hope this finds you well. Some terrible things happening in the world over the last few hours :(  All those people, relatives, loved ones, families - we are thinking about them and they are in our prayers.

Onto today's card share then, another wedding one (well you will be seeing a bit more Christmas but in the meantime I am getting up to date with some projects I meant to post)

Used the EK success flourish punch again on this one..

I had included more information about what was used in an earlier post where I shared this card in a different colour, but if you need any help with products etc just leave me a comment :)

I have been playing with new graphics software over the last few weeks, hence the scarce posts, and I will share what I have made soon, am sure you will like it - after a mixture of what were frustrating times and eureka / light bulb moments, I am now getting to grips with it and its LOADS of fun and great for anyone creative - more uses for all those digi papers and images !!

Cerise Pink for the same couple - Lili of the Valley and Stamping Bella Uptown Girls images

Happy Friday everyone. Popping in to share a couple of pink cards - if you don't like pink, please look away now LOL!

I used a LOTV image for one and a Stamping Bella image for the other.

Lots of dots on this one, stencilling using the dies and hand made frilly flowers.

For the Second card I used a partial embossing technique. In a rush to photograph this one so hope you can see where the folder 'didn't' emboss over the image. I made my own template and adjusted the embossing sandwich in the machine.

Some more partial embossing inside the card.

Haven't used tinkling bells for a while so added some of those and a lacy spellbinders oval die.

This is the best photo for you to see the partial embossing around the image.

That's all for today. Thanks for stopping by and if you like, leave me a comment to let me know what you think of these two wedding cards.

Coffee n Cream Coloured wedding with a hint of pink - Sugar Nellie revisited

Another card I have improved on since the first version - funny when you look back at old photos and think ewww I should have done this or that!! It's good if our own criticism has a good effect on future work, don't you think?!

Anyway this is the same layout as before, but used a different shade of distress ink for the edges plus I added a hint of pink. Sometimes it's easy to get carried away with the ''need'' for die cut shapes but for this card all I did was mat and layer and use ONE corner punch, the double rounder.

Embossing folder is my original oldest cuttlebug flourish one and the Sugar Nellie stamp can be found HERE.

Navy White and Silver Sugar Nallie themed Wedding card

Another Sugar Nellie card to share similar to a previous post, but this time in royal blue, white and a hint of silver

The daisies are made with EK success daisy punches - mental note: when these eventually wear out I need to find replacement dies the same shape!!

only a little colouring was required on this image and a close up of the embossing and layers shown below

Pastel Wedding Cards

Yes I have been awol for a long time again, sorry about that blog readers, but I have been busy with a number of wedding cards and others.
So two more to share then - pastel coloured ones using different colours and the same design.

I love this LOTV stamp and have used it again this week - I can't think of a year when I haven't used it!

Summery Wedding card

Another wedding card to share, this time in fresh bright colours, using that same scroll punch again which everyone seems to like! The fresh colours were very suited to the occasion as it was a wedding away somewhere sunny.

I used a Sugar Nellie stamped image and some sea green card, inked the handmade flowers to match and used lots of die cut leaves and heart shaped fronds.

I am sure this is a crafters companion embossing folder.. maybe someone can help me with that one, as I lost the packaging.

Some close up photos..

So now I definitely need to try that new shade of Tim Holtz Distress ink, cracked Pistaschio - I think that new shade would have been fab - for this card I had to ink using sky blue and evergreen bough and it took a few attempts!

That's all for today, but I will be back as have a few more to share but for now I need to create a couple of more bits on order :)

Ivory and Copper Wedding Card

Another wedding card to share, this time in ivory and copper.

Love the colour copper card - the last batch of my centura copper pearlescent card unfortunately, because the colour has been discontinued :( . So using it for special projects while it lasts!

The ivory boxes are from Stella crafts which you can purchase here.

Dotty embossing and simple die cut shapes for this design make a classic look for a wedding card.

The dies are Heartfelt Creations / Spellbinders Daisy Patch dies which have rounded tips to the petals. these are a good set as the 5 sizes all 'nest' very well. Now I really need the stamps to go with the dies LOL........

That was a quick post for today, a couple of days off work with lots to do :)

Navy and Ivory Floral Wedding

As promised, here are photos of the navy and ivory wedding card

The navy card was dark, so hard to photograph, and you will see more detail in close up photos.

I used Spellbinders / Heartfelt Creations Posy patch dies which I crumpled and distressed / shaped and then added shabby frantage embossing powder to the edges.

Different brands of dies and punches used for the leaves and flourishes.

The flourish is and EK success scroll pattern punch, which I doubled up to decorate the box and card with - really like this punch, and it's my first time using it, so no doubt it will become a favourite.
