Di's Digi Fall Colours + my fave twinkly paints

hello bloggers and fellow crafters, hope you have all been having a good weekend and those Christmas cards are in full swing LOL.
Am sharing a great feminine card, which would be great to send to someone who loves baking, and I have chosen autumnal colours for this one - those limy / green flowers, when the leaves start to turn and the browns and reds, just no orange on this one

Over at Di's Digi Challenge Blog, the theme this week is Fall Colours, and hope you can join in too.
I have used Gonna Bake a Cake image for mine and I just love the luscious choc layer cake and the little girls baking cap!

I have used Cheery Lynn Mega Fanciful Flourish die on this card, cutting the die so I could re position leaves and fronds where I wanted them

...and added some pretty Wild Orchid Craft flowers to which I added ultra fine glitter in an old rose colour pink and limey green colour, using art institute glitter glue to add the glitter as well as adhere the flowers.

...a closeup photos of the roses and cherry blossoms and the stitching onto the Nitwit papers from their Warm Fuzzies collection.
The tan coloured pearls are from Cottage Crafts, and you can find the range here, they are excellent value and each pearl comes off the sheet individuality, no need to cut the long adhesive strings on other brands!

and the inside of the card left blank for that special sentiment.

In case you are wondering about the skin colour, I used promarkers for that (yes you can colour hammered card which isnt usually suitable for promarkers as it can bleed, if you are careful). I used markers from light to dark, in the following order - antique white Flex Marker, almond, satin, march hare and sunkissed pink - delighted with the result!

Hope you like the card blank, which cardstock I also used for layering and the punched border - its kraft card from Craft creations which you can find here and its a great weight, good quality cardstock which I got in 12 x 12 sheets - am going to use more of it!

I am entering this card into some other challenges too:

Sketch 'n Stash - Challenge 100 use one of the catalogue sketches - I used number 82, here is the sketch

Stampin for the Weekend - All stitched up (got my sewing machine out after a long while..woohoo)

Will be back with more cards next week, as have been going through all the photos taken and not posted, so pop back again..
